12-Day Hindi Training Programme Concludes Successfully at DIET Leh

Leh: The 12-day Hindi Training Programme organized by the District Institute of Education and Training Leh (DIET Leh) from February 17 to 28 concluded successfully, marking a significant milestone in strengthening Hindi language education in the region.

The intensive programme focused on enhancing Hindi language proficiency, enriching pedagogical competencies, and equipping teachers with modern teaching methodologies.


Valedictory Ceremony Graced by Chief Education Officer

The valedictory function was attended by Deldan Angmo, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Leh, as the Chief Guest.

The programme began with a welcome address by Sh. Miraza Mehdi, Principal, DIET Leh, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished resource persons:

  • Dhanji Prasad, Central Institute of Hindi, Delhi Centre
  • Dr. Tsering Chorol, Assistant Professor, EJM College Leh
  • Dr. Tsering Dolkar, Lecturer, Govt. Boys Hr. Sec. School, Leh

The Principal appreciated their scholarly contributions and professional dedication throughout the 12-day training. He also commended the participants for their active engagement and perseverance, expressing confidence that the acquired knowledge would be effectively implemented in their respective schools.

During the feedback session, participants described the programme as intellectually stimulating and highly resourceful. They particularly valued:

As a token of appreciation, participants presented mementos to the resource persons, the Chief Guest, and the Principal of DIET Leh. The event concluded on a culturally vibrant note with a Ladakhi cultural performance, celebrating the region’s rich heritage and making the ceremony memorable.

Prof. Dhanji Prasad shared his satisfaction with the programme, praising the teachers’ intellectual curiosity and active participation. He described the learning experience as mutually enriching.


Call for Implementation of Training Outcomes
