Date:

In a public gathering held in Nanded, Maharashtra, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful message to all political workers and leaders across party lines. He urged them to work hard for democracy, regardless of their expectations about the election outcomes.

“To all the workers and leaders of other parties, even if you feel that you are going to lose the elections and why should you work hard- I want to say work hard for democracy,” said the Prime Minister. His words were met with applause from the crowd, reflecting the importance of his message in the current political climate.

The Prime Minister further added, “‘Aaj nahin toh kal, kal nahin toh parso, parso nahin toh narso, arey kabhi to mauka aega’…” This phrase, roughly translating to “If not today, then tomorrow; if not tomorrow, then the day after; if not the day after, then someday, an opportunity will come,” resonated with the audience, instilling a sense of hope and determination.

Prime Minister Modi’s speech was a call to action for all political leaders and workers to uphold the democratic values that form the backbone of our nation. His words served as a reminder that every effort counts, and that persistence and dedication to the democratic process are vital, irrespective of immediate results.

This message from the Prime Minister comes at a crucial time, with the country gearing up for several state and local elections. It underscores the importance of active participation in the democratic process, not just from voters, but also from those working behind the scenes in political parties.

As the country moves forward, the Prime Minister’s words serve as a beacon, guiding the nation towards a stronger democracy.
