Punjab Politics in Turmoil: PM Modi Accuses AAP of Remote Control Governance

Date:

In a recent public rally in Gurdaspur, Punjab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made some serious allegations against the current Punjab government. He claimed that the state is being governed by the top leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), who are sitting in Delhi.

The Allegations

Modi alleged that the Chief Minister of Punjab is unable to make a single decision on his own. He further stated that the ‘Durbaris’ of Delhi are governing Punjab. This paints a picture of a state government that is being controlled remotely, with the Chief Minister merely acting on orders from above.

The Prime Minister went on to claim that the Chief Minister had to go to Tihar Jail to receive new orders for running his government. He warned that after 1st June, the corrupt will go to jail again, raising questions about the future functioning of the Punjab government.

The Congress Connection

Modi didn’t stop at AAP. He also attacked the Congress party, stating that when Congress was in power in Punjab, they too wanted to run the government through remote control. However, Captain Amarinder Singh, the then Chief Minister, refused to obey the orders of the ‘Shehzada’ of Delhi, Rahul Gandhi.

According to Modi, Singh prioritized national security, given that Punjab is a border state. This defiance allegedly led to Singh’s removal from the post of Chief Minister by the ‘royal family’ of Congress and the ‘Shehzada’. Modi asked the audience if anyone could ever forget this insult to Punjab.

Conclusion

These allegations have stirred up the political landscape in Punjab. The idea of a state government being controlled remotely raises serious questions about the autonomy and effectiveness of the state’s leadership. As the political drama unfolds, the people of Punjab will be watching closely, their faith in their leaders potentially hanging in the balance.
