Prime Minister Modi Attends Oath-Taking Ceremony in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar, Odisha — Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bhubaneswar today to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of Odisha’s Chief Minister-designate, Mohan Charan Majhi. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 5 pm at Janata Maidan.

Upon his arrival, Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das, and CM-designate Majhi personally welcomed Prime Minister Modi at the airport. The Prime Minister, who was recently sworn in for a third consecutive term on June 9, donned a traditional white kurta and churidar, complemented by a light-colored jacket.

The event promises to be significant, with several high-profile leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in attendance. Among the dignitaries who arrived in Bhubaneswar to witness the ceremony are Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

As the sun sets over Janata Maidan, all eyes will be on the swearing-in of Mohan Charan Majhi, who is set to lead Odisha into a new chapter of governance. The event marks a momentous occasion for the state and its people, as they eagerly await the formation of the new government.
