PM Modi Affirms Progress of Pandharpur Wari Route Development

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a gathered audience in Mumbai today, providing updates on the infrastructure development for the upcoming Pandharpur Wari pilgrimage. This annual pilgrimage holds immense cultural and religious significance, drawing millions of devotees from Maharashtra and beyond to pay homage to Lord Vithoba.

PM Modi highlighted the government’s ongoing efforts to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey for pilgrims traveling along the Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi Marg and Sant Tukaram Palkhi Marg routes. He announced substantial progress in the construction of these routes, with the Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi Marg nearing completion over nearly 200 kilometers and significant advancements made on the Sant Tukaram Palkhi Marg as well.

The Prime Minister underscored that these infrastructure developments are aimed at enhancing the pilgrimage experience by providing necessary amenities and ensuring the safety and comfort of devotees throughout their journey.
