PM Modi Inaugurates Development Works in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu; Highlights Role of Tamil Language and Culture

Rameswaram, Tamil NaduPrime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development projects in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, today, marking a significant step in the region’s growth. “People want to know and understand India, and our culture and soft power play a big role in this,” PM Modi stated. He underlined that the government has been actively working towards promoting Tamil culture and language worldwide. “The government is continuously working to spread the Tamil language and heritage to every corner of the globe,” he said, expressing confidence that the rich cultural heritage of Rameswaram and Tamil Nadu will provide continuous inspiration and energy to further these efforts.

The projects inaugurated by PM Modi are expected to foster infrastructure development, boost tourism, and enhance the socio-economic landscape of Rameswaram, which is a significant cultural and religious hub in India. The Prime Minister’s visit to Rameswaram underscores the government’s commitment to preserving and promoting India’s cultural heritage while pushing for holistic development across the country.
