PM Modi Meets Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, First Indian to Visit ISS

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday met Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station (ISS) as part of Axiom Mission-4.

During the meeting, PM Modi congratulated Shukla on his historic achievement and lauded him for bringing pride to the nation. He highlighted that Shukla’s journey represents India’s growing capabilities in space exploration and the aspirations of young Indians who dream of venturing into space.

The Prime Minister emphasized that India is committed to advancing its space program through missions like Gaganyaan and collaborations with global partners. He said Shukla’s achievement would inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and explorers.

The meeting also underscored India’s rising presence in international space ventures, marking a milestone in the country’s pursuit of scientific excellence and global cooperation in space research.
