PM Modi Pays Tribute to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji on 350th Shaheedi Diwas in Kurukshetra

Kurukshetra, Haryana | Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a special programme on Tuesday to commemorate the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru known for his unparalleled sacrifice in the protection of faith and human rights. The event, held in Kurukshetra, brought together devotees, scholars, religious leaders, and dignitaries to pay homage to the revered Guru whose martyrdom continues to inspire generations.

Addressing the gathering, PM Modi highlighted the profound impact Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji has had on India’s civilisational ethos. He described the Guru as a towering symbol of courage, sacrifice, and compassion, who chose martyrdom over compromise, standing firmly against oppression and religious persecution.
