Leh, March 23: The ‘Jung-Sjhabs’ public outreach programme, aimed at strengthening welfare delivery and governance at the grassroots level, was conducted in GIA-Rumtse village of Kharu subdivision on Sunday under the Administration at Doorstep campaign.
The programme witnessed active participation from residents of Gia and Rumtse villages, who availed various government services at their doorstep.
Multi-Departmental Participation
Several officials from different departments participated in the outreach programme, including:
- Block Development Officer / Agriculture Extension Officer Ms. Kunzang Dolma
- Child Development Project Officer (ICDS) Ms. Sonam Nilza
- Naib Tehsildar Stanzin Namgail
Officials from multiple departments were present to provide on-the-spot services and address public grievances.

- Health screening and ABHA ID creation
- Distribution of PMGY benefits
- Issuance of PMMVY benefits
🏦 Banking & Awareness
- Awareness on pension schemes
- Digital banking and cyber fraud awareness by J&K Bank
🌾 Agriculture & Rural Development
- KCC and PM-KISAN enrolment
- Issuance and e-KYC of job cards
🐑 Animal Husbandry
- Distribution of medicines
- Preventive spraying services
🧾 Administrative Services
- Processing of domicile, resident, mutation, and ST certificates
- Creation of APAAR IDs by ICDS department
