Prime Minister Narendra Modi has stated that the gap between cities and villages has narrowed over the past 12 years. Highlighting significant improvements in rural infrastructure, he noted that self-reliance and economic empowerment among women in the country have increased.
During a virtual interaction with ‘Seva Yatris’ (service travelers) embarking on a journey from Varanasi to Vadnagar as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of social service, social reform, and positive change. He stated that the goal of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) can be achieved only through the participation and contribution of everyone.
Shri Modi mentioned that the values instilled in him in Vadnagar shaped his life, while Kashi taught him the value of service. He expressed happiness that the youth are also engaged in service activities across various sectors.
The travelers shared their experiences during the interaction with the Prime Minister. He also urged them to document their experiences in a diary.
