PM Modi Highlights India’s Aviation Ambitions, Says World Will Talk About Indigenous Aircraft

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed great confidence in the country’s future at the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ (Developed India Resolve Gathering). He stated that while India faces challenges, it also possesses 1.4 billion solutions. PM Modi said, “Today, the world is talking about India’s pilots. A day will come when the world will speak of ‘Made in India’ aircraft. These goals will be achieved through visionary policies and relentless hard work. India may face challenges, but we also have 1.4 billion solutions.”

Addressing the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ in New Delhi, PM Modi invoked Swami Vivekananda and Maharshi Aurobindo. He said, “Swami Vivekananda had said that one day, a magnificent, glorious, and great India would rise. Maharshi Aurobindo also said that the sun of India’s destiny would surely rise, and its light would illuminate the entire world. We are the descendants of those ancestors who were forged in indomitable courage and an unyielding will to live; we are the outcome of their penance, sacrifice, and selflessness.”

The Prime Minister remarked, “Today, we live in a country where our dreams are free, and we possess the capability to realize them. Today, we are the masters of our own destiny.” He added that the time has come to set bold and ambitious goals for the nation.

He stated, “It is time to set grand goals for our country—goals that are extraordinary and ambitious. A better India. An India ranked among the world’s top three economies. An India free from poverty. An India that leads in every sector. Whether it is education, entertainment, health and wellness, sports, innovation, or technology, the world should look towards India. Our goals should be such that the Tricolour flies with pride in every field.”

He further affirmed that the dream of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) will certainly be realized. PM Modi said, “The dream we envision today for a developed India will certainly be realized. There is no reason for India to stop now. A hundred years ago, our population was less than 400 million; today, it exceeds 1.4 billion. Together, these 1.4 billion citizens will build a developed India by 2047—they will certainly make it happen.”

Prime Minister Modi also highlighted the achievement of lifting people out of poverty. He remarked, “What once seemed impossible has now become possible. Who would have imagined that 250 million people could rise out of poverty within a single decade? Yet, India achieved it. That is why I have faith in the strength and potential of 1.4 billion Indians. With the experience of these 25 years, I can say with full confidence that we are witnessing the transformation of India right before our eyes.”

The ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ is a major national and state-level event organized to mark the completion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service and as part of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’. Its objective is to take the resolve of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047 to the masses and to ensure that the benefits of various central government schemes reach eligible beneficiaries.
