PM Modi Promises Accelerated Development for Paradip Port and Odisha’s Coastline

“The greatest strength of Kendrapara and all of Odisha is its coastline,” remarked PM Modi, underlining the pivotal role coastal regions play in India’s economic landscape. He emphasized the government’s proactive stance in rejuvenating major ports across the country, with a particular focus on transforming Paradip Port into a bustling hub of maritime activity.

Over the past decade, the Modi government has undertaken extensive measures to revitalize the nation’s ports, garnering praise from global quarters. Paradip Port, renowned for its handling of substantial cargo volumes, stands as a testament to India’s maritime prowess. The Prime Minister announced the infusion of significant investments into the port, with new berths worth hundreds of crores of rupees slated for construction.
