President Droupadi Murmu recently interacted with a group of students from Ladakh attending the National Integration Tour, along with students from various Eklavya Model Residential Schools of Jammu & Kashmir, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The students, who are part of an initiative aimed at fostering national integration and promoting unity, had the opportunity to meet with the President, who welcomed their presence and commended their participation in the tour. The National Integration Tour provides students from different regions with the chance to visit various parts of India, helping them understand the diversity and unity that the country stands for.

During the interaction, President Murmu expressed her support for such initiatives and encouraged the students to make the most of the experience, emphasizing the importance of education and cultural exchange in building a stronger, more united India.

The meeting was a significant moment for the students, who were able to engage directly with the President and discuss their experiences. The Eklavya Model Residential Schools, aimed at providing quality education to tribal students, have been a key part of the government’s efforts to bridge educational gaps and uplift underprivileged communities across the country.

Through events like these, the National Integration Tour and programs like Eklavya Model Schools continue to play a crucial role in promoting inclusivity, understanding, and national unity among the youth of India.
