Anandpur — Rooted in India’s timeless values, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of selfless service as a core principle of the nation’s cultural and spiritual identity during his address at Shri Anandpur Dham.

Selfless service lies at the heart of India’s ethos,” PM Modi said, reflecting on the foundational values that have guided the country through centuries. He noted that this spirit has been central not only to India’s spiritual traditions but also to the modern-day governance model.

Praising the Anandpur Trust for its commendable work in public welfare, the Prime Minister lauded its efforts in uplifting communities through education, healthcare, and service. “The work being done here is a living example of seva (service) in action,” he said.

Modi also drew parallels between the Trust’s mission and the government’s welfare schemes, stating that initiatives rolled out across the country are rooted in the same spirit of compassion and inclusive development. He reiterated that the government remains committed to ensuring that the benefits of progress reach the last person in the queue.

The visit and address were a part of PM Modi’s ongoing efforts to bridge tradition with development, celebrating India’s rich cultural foundations while pushing forward a vision for holistic and equitable progress.
