PM Modi Urges Teachers to Inspire Students to Celebrate Made-in-India Products

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while interacting with the National Awardee Teachers, encouraged them to play a pivotal role in promoting Made-in-India products among students. He suggested that teachers inspire children through innovative and engaging activities that not only create awareness but also instill a sense of pride in Indian craftsmanship.

PM Modi recommended introducing fun initiatives such as “Local Week” celebrations, classroom projects, or gift exchanges featuring Indian-made goods. According to him, these efforts will help students build a deeper connection with the nation’s growth journey.

“By celebrating Made-in-India products, children will develop pride, respect for artisans, and a sense of responsibility. It will also help them understand how their personal growth is closely linked to the progress of the nation,” the Prime Minister said.

He underlined the importance of teachers in shaping the values of the younger generation, adding that educators are not only knowledge-givers but also role models who can nurture a spirit of self-reliance and nation-building in classrooms.

The Prime Minister’s call aligns with the government’s larger vision of “Vocal for Local” and “Make in India, Make for the World,” which seeks to boost domestic industries, encourage innovation, and reduce dependency on imports.

Teachers who attended the interaction appreciated the Prime Minister’s emphasis on combining education with values that strengthen both individual character and national identity, promising to adopt such practices in their institutions.
