PM Modi Lays Foundation Stone, Inaugurates Key Development Projects in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated several development works in Kurnool, highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s strides in energy infrastructure and economic growth.

During the event, PM Modi emphasized the state’s new energy milestones, including the launch of ₹3,000 crore transmission projects designed to strengthen power distribution and reliability. He also inaugurated a natural gas pipeline project that will provide clean energy access to 15 lakh homes, significantly enhancing household energy security and promoting sustainability.

Additionally, the Prime Minister inaugurated a new LPG bottling plant, which is expected to generate employment opportunities while supporting the state’s energy needs and industrial growth. PM Modi underscored that these initiatives reflect the government’s focus on creating jobs, improving infrastructure, and accelerating development in Andhra Pradesh.

“These projects are not just about energy; they are about empowering citizens, supporting industries, and boosting economic growth in the region,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s visit to Kurnool signals a continued commitment to transforming Andhra Pradesh into a hub of modern energy infrastructure, with projects aimed at enhancing both urban and rural access to reliable power and clean fuels.
