PM Modi Launches Key Development Projects in Motihari, Says ‘Era of Eastern States Has Begun’

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday laid the foundation stone and inaugurated a series of major development projects in Motihari, reaffirming the Centre’s commitment to accelerating growth across eastern India.

Addressing a large gathering, the Prime Minister said India has entered “the era of the eastern states,” emphasising that regions like Bihar are now at the forefront of national development. He credited the state’s progress to the resilience and determination of its women. “Bihar’s mothers have shown remarkable strength, and they are playing a crucial role in shaping the state’s future,” he said.

Reiterating the NDA’s longstanding vision for the state, PM Modi said, “Bihar’s progress is essential for India’s progress.” He stressed that the state’s advancement depends largely on empowering its young population. “Bihar will move forward only when its youth move forward,” he added.

The development projects launched span sectors such as infrastructure, connectivity, and public welfare, aiming to boost economic activity and improve living standards across the region.

The Prime Minister’s visit marks yet another push toward strengthening Bihar’s development trajectory ahead of key political and economic milestones for the state.
