Enrollment Drive in Disket Promotes Admissions in Government Schools

Disket (Nubra), March 20, 2026: An enrollment drive was successfully conducted at the Community Hall in Disket, Nubra, aimed at encouraging parents to enroll their children in government schools.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from villagers, Goba (village heads), members of Ama Tsogspa, and representatives of various local organisations.


Officials Emphasise Importance of Quality Education

The event was attended by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Nubra Sonam Dolker as the chief guest.

Other dignitaries present included:

  • Nodal Officer, Ladakh Model School, Chamba
  • Headmaster, Ladakh Model School Ibex Colony, Sonam Gyalson
  • Headmaster, Ladakh Model School Disket Girls
  • Staff members and Advisory VEC representatives

Addressing the gathering, the ZEO emphasised the importance of quality education and urged parents to support government schools.
