DC Kargil Reviews Preparations Ahead of Inauguration of New District Court Complex

Kargil, March 22: Deputy Commissioner Kargil Rakesh Kumar on Sunday reviewed arrangements ahead of the inauguration of the New District Court Complex at Kurbathang.


Senior Officials Participate in Inspection

The inspection was conducted in the presence of Sheikh Gowher Hussain, along with the SSP Kargil, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Tehsildar Kargil, and executive engineers from PWD, Mechanical, and PDD departments, among other officials.


Facilities and Infrastructure Reviewed

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner, along with the Principal District Judge, inspected key facilities at the newly constructed court complex, including:

  • Court chambers
  • Conference hall
  • Video conferencing (VC) room
  • Other supporting infrastructure

Focus on Event Readiness and Public Convenience

A detailed review was carried out regarding arrangements for:

  • Seating and logistics
  • Medical facilities
  • Water and power supply
  • Security measures
  • Traffic regulation and parking

Directions Issued for Smooth Conduct

The DC directed all concerned departments to ensure comprehensive and timely arrangements for the inauguration event.

He emphasized:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in and around the campus
  • Proper road maintenance
  • Ensuring seamless coordination among departments

The review aims to ensure the smooth and hassle-free conduct of the inauguration ceremony at the new district court complex.
