‘Jung SJabs’ Programme Brings Government Services to Doorstep in Remote Nubra Village

Nubra, March 31, 2026: In a significant outreach initiative, the “Jung sJabs” programme was successfully conducted at Waris Fastan village in the Nubra Subdivision under the Administration at Doorstep initiative, ensuring last-mile delivery of government services in remote areas.

The programme was held under the chairmanship of Tehsildar Diskit Tufail Iqbal, with active participation from multiple government departments.

Strengthening Public Outreach in Remote Areas

The initiative aimed to:

  • Enhance public awareness about welfare schemes
  • Improve access to essential government services
  • Ensure effective implementation of schemes in remote regions

Waris Fastan, being a geographically isolated village, benefited from on-the-spot services and direct interaction with officials.

Wide Range of Services Delivered On-Site

During the camp, residents were provided with several key services, including:

  • Aadhaar registration and updates
  • Issuance of Resident, Domicile, and Scheduled Tribe certificates
  • Creation of ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) IDs
  • Facilitation of Kisan Credit Cards
  • Assistance with PM KISAN forms
  • Generation of APAAR IDs
  • Enrolment under PMJAY
  • Distribution of medicines

Officials also provided detailed information about various government schemes and guided villagers on how to avail benefits.
