In a public meeting held in Jhargram, West Bengal, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing the party of pushing Bengal backwards.
“From industries to infrastructure, TMC has been destroying everything in Bengal,” said PM Modi, addressing a large crowd. He alleged that the ruling party’s actions are causing a significant setback to the state’s development.
The Prime Minister further emphasized that the citizens’ vote in the upcoming elections could serve as a strong answer to the alleged misdeeds of the TMC. He urged the people to exercise their democratic right and vote for progress.
PM Modi’s comments come at a time when the political atmosphere in West Bengal is charged up, with the state gearing up for the forthcoming elections. His remarks are likely to intensify the ongoing political tussle between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the TMC.
The TMC, however, has not yet responded to the Prime Minister’s allegations. The party has been at the helm of the state’s administration for the past decade, with Mamata Banerjee serving as the Chief Minister.
