Union Ministers Pralhad Joshi and Manohar Lal Khattar, along with Minister of State Shripad Yesso Naik, participated in ‘The Next Terawatt’ ministerial session, organized by the International Solar Alliance (ISA), CEEW and Energiva Ventures.

The discussions centred on four key priorities: integrated energy planning and storage, resilient energy infrastructure, large-scale project financing and the application of digitalisation and artificial intelligence to ensure secure and affordable energy. The deliberations outlined a roadmap towards 2050, aligned with India’s vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.

These 18 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo. Meanwhile, Bondada Engineering Limited, a part of the Bondada Group, signed an MoU with Goa Investment Promotion and Facilitation Board (Goa-IPB), proposing an investment of ₹3,000 crore renewable energy projects in the state.

Representatives from more than 130 countries are participating in this summit. These include over 40 ministers, senior policymakers, investors and prominent figures from the industrial sector.

Nive Country Partners – Australia, Denmark, the European Union, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom are participating as partners. Its objective is to promote international cooperation and strengthen partnerships in the areas of investment and new technologies. Meanwhile, 13 states and union territories are also showcasing their renewable energy capacity, manufacturing capabilities and upcoming projects.

Another key highlight was Watts Next: Innovators’ Ideas for India’s Energy Security, Agenda 2047, organised with BloombergNEF. The forum featured industry leaders and experts, including Sumant Sinha, Shreya Mishra, Girish R. Tanti, Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala and Meredith Annex, who discussed technology, financing and policy solutions to strengthen India’s energy security.

This summit has emerged as a significant platform for accelerating India’s clean energy goals.
