Explosive Indian left-handed batters Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma have retained their top positions in the T20 batter rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Ishan Kishan holds the top spot in the T20 batter rankings, while Abhishek Sharma remains in second place. Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan is third, and England opener Phil Salt is fourth. Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka occupies the fifth spot. India’s Tilak Varma is sixth, and England’s Jos Buttler is seventh.
England’s left-handed batter Jacob Bethell has made significant gains in the rankings after playing an unbeaten innings of 76 runs in the second match of the ongoing T20 series against India. Bethell has climbed seven places to reach the eighth spot. Australia’s Mitchell Marsh is ninth, while South Africa’s Dewald Brevis is tenth.
Regarding T20 bowler rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan is first, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed is second, England’s Adil Rashid has moved up one spot to third, and Australia’s Adam Zampa has climbed one place to fourth. India’s Varun Chakravarthy has dropped two places and is now fifth. Australia’s Nathan Ellis and South Africa’s Corbin Bosch are in the sixth and seventh positions, respectively; both have gained one spot. Jasprit Bumrah has slipped two places to eighth. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga is ninth, and Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman is tenth.
With two more matches remaining in the ongoing T20 series between India and England, further changes could be seen in the next ICC T20 rankings.
