Drass, Ladakh — Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth visited the Horse Polo Stadium in Goshan, Drass earlier today, where they engaged in a friendly archery session and interacted with local archers from the Ladakh region.
During their visit, both ministers took time to understand the traditional archery practices of Ladakh and appreciated the talent and skills of the youth involved in the sport. Their participation in the event drew enthusiastic responses from the local community and underlined the government’s commitment to promoting indigenous sports and regional talent.
The visit also comes ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26, which is marked by commemorative events honoring the sacrifices of Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War.
