New Delhi: Arnav Anupriya Maharshi, a young innovator and recipient of the prestigious Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and shared details of two breakthrough Made in India innovations aimed at transforming rehabilitation therapy.

During the interaction, Arnav spoke about an AI-based software designed to analyse finger movements and provide real-time feedback to patients suffering from paralysis and cerebral palsy. The technology enables more precise and responsive therapy by tracking movement patterns and assisting patients in improving motor functions through guided rehabilitation.

He also highlighted the development of a smart wrist device that supports full hand rehabilitation. The wearable device works in coordination with the AI software, helping patients gradually regain hand strength, coordination, and mobility through structured and monitored exercises.

Prime Minister Modi appreciated the young innovator’s efforts and emphasized the importance of indigenous innovation in addressing healthcare challenges. He encouraged the use of technology-driven solutions to make medical rehabilitation more accessible and effective, especially for those with long-term physical disabilities.

Arnav Anupriya Maharshi’s innovations reflect the growing impact of youth-led research and development in India’s healthcare and technology sectors, reinforcing the vision of self-reliance and innovation under the Made in India initiative.
